Hello! My name is Lane Dow, and my mission is to help students get the tools they need to succeed in math class! Here are some things to know about me:

I'm 18, and I graduated high school in June 2026.
I graduated with high honors (and awards in both math & science), securing Summa Cum Laude in a class of 400+.
I'm going to Delaware Technical Community College for a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
I have a passion for art, crochet, graphic design, and, of course, math.

And lastly,

My favorite equation is the quadratic formula. :)

Even as an honors student, sometimes I would sit listening to my math teachers and feel so lost and behind because of their lack of clarity. And it's not necessarily the teachers' fault! But, especially as a neurodivergent teenager, it was particularly difficult to keep up when you're missing details.

So, that's why I set out to make this site. I believe my perspective can offer something that standard education lacks. My lessons are effective because they're straight to the point and put in simple terms. I've also made this website to compile online resources for students to access for the purposes of reinforcing certain skills and concepts.

Students can email me if they have specific questions on topics that they cannot figure out on their own, and I will give detailed responses! With their permission, I can post their questions and my answer to an FAQ section for that specific lesson.
